The package design showcases the four elements in Avatar the Last Airbender - earth, air, fire and water and each of the face masks cater towards that certain element. The design is fairly simple as the box is complicated through the use of a buckle closure. The name of the element is on the front and the side panels make use of pattern and color to highlight the element that the box is themed. The back of the box has the ingredients and gold foiling is used in the Tatcha logo. The second set of packages that were designed make use of a ring style box to house a moisturizer. The black and white box are a spin on the yin and yang motif that is used throughout the show. The white box is a daytime moisturizer while the black is for night time and the two boxes are inverses of each other. The box makes use of a fan pattern which is commonly seen in Japanese culture and the ingredients, barcode, logos and symbols are all located on the bottom. On the top of the box is the white lotus which is a symbol an ancient and formerly secret society that transcends the boundaries of the four nations and is an important motif found in the show.
